Living History, Community Programs & Parades 

A core part of our mission informing the public about the AWI and 18th c life.  The 1st NJ takes history to community events, festivals, historic houses and parades.  We craft a program to suit each event, from an encampment complete with demonstrations and spectator participation, to presentations to historical societies and community groups.  Our members make themselves available individually, and have a wealth of experience in 18th life and material culture, bringing enthusiasm, skill and experience to each program.
